PSYCHOTHERAPY
At our centre, psychotherapy plays a central role and is the predominant activity. We use and offer courses based on different approaches such as systemic, cognitive and integrative therapy, and, depending on the diagnostic framework, we combine therapeutic methods and techniques in such a way that the expected results in the pathways of change are achieved more effectively. After a careful initial framework, we develop a multidisciplinary treatment program, within which psychotherapy can be combined with body therapies, and where it can benefit, even with drug therapy. For eating disorders, psychotherapy is combined not only with body therapies and pharmacological support, but also with dietary treatments, dietary advice and therapeutic work with families.
Psychotherapy is mostly carried out in individual sessions; where the minimum number of people with a common diagnostic framework is reached, group paths are also initiated.

PSYCHIATRY AND DRUG THERAPY
In the acute stages of discomfort and as a combined treatment for specific disorders, we consider pharmacological support useful and indispensable.
Through our psychiatrist we offer -precisely for these situations- psychiatric diagnostic frameworks, consultations and pharmacological treatments.

MOVEMENT AND BODY PERCEPTION THERAPY
Within this offer there is space for the therapeutic experience of the body, to promote the essential integration between what is for us physical and what is emotional. In this sense, we work on posture, expression, tension, relaxation and balance.
Mainly we work in a group, which is the ideal dimension to promote non-verbal communication, sociality and the creativity of the participants.
There is also a movement therapy group for patients with tension headaches and migraines to support conventional medical treatment. This offer is the result of a collaboration with the department of neurology and the psychological service of the Bolzano hospital.

FELDENKRAIS
This body treatment offers the possibility to recognize what the patterns of movement are and to modify them when and if they are dysfunctional. The progressive refinement of body sensations leads to greater flexibility and well-being.
Feldenkrais treatment is suitable for the reduction of:

• Stress and stiffness
• Pains
• Amnesie senso-motorie

It is particularly suitable as an accompanying treatment for patients with somatoform disorders and chronic pain conditions.
Weekly meetings take place in open groups. Occasionally and when the need is assessed, individual meetings with the therapist are possible.

RELAXATION
At our center we offer a progressive relaxation training according to the Jacobson method. The training consists in learning the ability to alternate between contraction and muscle relaxation of specific muscle groups, in order to improve body perception and to achieve an increasingly deeper condition of relaxation.

PSYCHOMOTILITY
The psychomotility service is provided by staff who meet the requirements of the tender specification. The service is organized by the Director of the service who is responsible for coordinating the operational activity and acting as a contact for other services.
Access to the service is reserved for persons undergoing psychological/psychotherapeutic treatment through the forwarding decided by the psychotherapists and/or the psychiatrist of the Centre.
The service is paid by the National Health System and the user is charged only the payment of the ticket.
